Amanda Nazaro
Amanda Nazaro serves as the Executive Director of the Alachua County Housing Authority, where she leads efforts to provide safe, affordable housing and support services to low- and moderate-income individuals and families. With over 20 years of experience in Public Housing Administration, community development, and nonprofit leadership, Amanda is dedicated to building inclusive communities and expanding access to quality housing.
Since joining the agency in 2005, she has overseen the development and rehabilitation of numerous affordable housing units, implemented resident-focused programs, and strengthened partnerships with local, state, and federal stakeholders. Under her leadership, the Housing Authority has improved operational efficiency, increased grant funding, and enhanced Housing Choice Voucher Program Administration.
