Request for Proposals (RFP)
The Alachua County Housing Authority is seeking a contractor to turn 4-units at the Sunshine Inn located at 4155 NW 13th Street Gainesville, FL. Contractor must be able to pull permits to complete the necessary work to remodel and open rooms 26 through 29. Work will include interior and exterior finishing and upgrades of ceilings, walls, plumbing, electrical and mechanical. Contractor must be familiar with local codes, licensed and insured.
This project is a partnership of the Alachua County Housing Authority with the Alachua County Housing Programs Office SHIP Program and Florida’s Institute for Workforce Innovation-Project Youth Build AmeriCorps program. Contractor must be open to working with supervised program participants in training when appropriate to reduce costs. Participants in the program receive training in multiple areas graduating with certifications in LEED, CAMT, OSHA,
