About us
The Alachua County Housing Authority (ACHA) was established by the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners in 1967 and is under the direction of a five member Board of Commissioners, selected by the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners.
The ACHA is a not-for-profit, quasi-governmental agency that receives federal funding for a Public Housing Program, a Section 8 Rental Assistance Program, and housing rehabilitation grants.
